Kapam-Pamangan is our award-winning capstone project we developed as part of our college program to preserve and promote the rich culinary heritage of Pampanga, known as the Culinary Capital of the Philippines. Our project features a mobile application that serves as a dedicated platform for Kapampangan recipes, providing users with access to authentic dishes, cooking techniques, and the cultural stories behind the cuisine. We also developed a complementary web application as an admin panel, allowing administrators to manage the app's content efficiently.
As the project manager and lead designer, I took on multiple roles to ensure the project's success. I designed the logo, user interface, animations, illustrations, and various app assets, creating a cohesive visual identity that captures the essence of Pampanga's culinary culture. My work also involved coordinating tasks, managing timelines, and overseeing the development process to meet our project's goals.
Our project was recognized as the Best Capstone Project in the Information System and Web Application Category and was even presented at the International Research Conference on Information Technology Education (IRCITE) 2024, demonstrating our commitment to cultural preservation through digital tools.
